'The uglier the better' '90s style is back

The '90s are back, and they're bringing their overallsNineties style has returned in a big way, with flannel shirts, floral babydolls, and Dr. Martens combat boots slowly taking over our wardrobes. But there's one item we wore in the 1990s we truly haven't missed: overalls. Remember wearing overalls?! We had long ones, short ones, skirt ones, colorful ones, corduroy ones. Sometimes we'd even leave one strap unbuckled for cool points. (We know, these are memories best left forgotten.) We've seen them pop up again from time to time, but thankfully they never caught on. Then 3.1 Phillip Lim, one of the hottest, trend-setting designer brands, sent multiple pairs of overalls down the spring runways in pink suede, and even black leather! Ugh. They just hit retailers for a whopping $1,400 and are astonishingly already sold out. Other designers have followed suit, as Moschino, Isabel Marant, and MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela all have overalls in their spring collections, and bigger mass brands like Guess, Diesel, Joe's Jeans, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Free People, and American Apparel have jumped on board too.

Change in Katy Perry’s Style from Kooky to Glamorous

Katy Perry must have grown out of her teenage dream in 2012; a look at her style choices over the last year reveals a showstopper who’s left behind the kooky looks that gained her so much attention and adopted a new, elegantly glamorous style. Just because her latest looks are more low-key doesn’t mean they scrimp on allure. Take a look at how the popstar has traded candy-colored wigs and cartoony dresses on the red carpet for Old Hollywood waves and graceful trains.

2011 was the year of Katy Perry, and her look-at-me style was all about zany one-of-a-kind statements that told her fans how much fun she was having becoming a star. Perry wore a lot of cartoonish dresses crafted to look like anything but, like the sequined Smurfette dress by The Blonds which she wore to The Smurfs

Makeup brand's unusual new model

The beauty industry was taken by surprise when MAC debuted its latest spokesperson, Jelena Abbou, a Serbian-American female bodybuilder with the kind of ripped physique more likely to be found in Muscle Milk ads than high end cosmetics campaigns. For those within the female bodybuilding world, however, it made perfect sense. "A lot of us use MAC," Monet Colbert, a makeup artist and former bodybuilder, tells Yahoo Shine. "It's designed for theatrical stage performances." That means it holds up under the double white lights designed to capture every muscle striation--and if you're not prepared, every wrinkle.

IT’S a good bet that when Michelle Obama accompanies her husband to his inaugural next month, and later the round of balls, she will not be thinking of her critics or those White House aides who once fretted about the political fallout from her designer fashion. That’s because she has turned the seemingly frivolous into political capital of her own.

Made In Chelsea's Rosie Fortescue Shows Us Her Beach Wardrobe

While we were in a mince pie coma this festive season, Rosie Fortescue was living it up in Florida. And now we're back to stuffy Grazia Towers, the glossy Made In Chelsea star is still topping up her tan, larking about with her twin sister Lily and doing the odd bit of retail therapy on the sandy shores of Miami. Jealous? Us? Well, yes actually.
To really turn us green with envy, the lovely Rosie has treated us to an exclusive sneak peek inside her suitcase. Grazia Daily has already raided her's glam winter wardrobe so we knew she would have packed some beauties - and the outfits don't disappoint!
So far, we've seen Ms Fortescue working everything from Miu Miu sunnies with Topshop trousers for a poolside jaunt to a statement-making Moxham necklace with leather trousers on a dinner date. And today, she's sent us another round of holiday snaps direct from the beach.
